if the code is included does that mean it's been unpaired with your car's ECU as i believe that needs to be done before it can be installed into a new Zed.

+1 that IS the case as I am currently finding out!!

+2 ... unit has to be "divorced" from the car before it will work with any other car.

 

There is a company who can fix this....

This being the case, can the OP please clarify in the ad as to whether the unit has been correctly divorced from the donar car.

Sorry guys, I was not aware of this issue.

 

The radio is not currently divorced from the car. I have contacted Maple Audio in Bath (http://www.mapleaudio.co.uk/) who can provide this service for £35+VAT. This will be taken off the asking price of £150.

 

The unit will be shipped directly to the seller from Maple Audio.

You'll struggle to get 100quid for a Bose unit never mind the base one tbh. Nobody buys these unless selling a car and nowadays people just put the original back in that came with it as nobody wants to buy them..

I thought it may be a good replacement for someone with a skipping unit. I think I'll just put it on Ebay and see what it goes for
