Hi All ,decided finally to get the wallet out and buy a car, looking at a JDM 2003 model low miles apparently (arnt they all !! LOL ) 11000 miles ... it is an automatic ...has anyone had any experience with an auto Z ?? is it a proper auto or a tiptronic type shift ? also any tips what to look out for problem wise on these cars ? Cheers Tim ;)

They're Tiptronic, with a "mode" selector button

"normal"

"power"

"Snow"

Are the three options - all pretty self explanatory. The box is pretty good too, although you lose a cog over the manual - I never miss it though and they seem to be a bit quicker off the mark, every time too! (no messing with clutches and biting points ;)

I haven't had any problems with mine - about 28K miles on it now was about 10K when I got it - Highly recommended mate

Congrats on the new car, sure you will enjoy it. I wouldn't be surprised if the high beam light has been disconnected - it's miles too bright!! :D

Actually, it would be the second Chesterfield meet, if you count myself and Val meeting up today to discuss a few things.

No photos I'm afraid, but the cars were both filthy so you didnt miss anything! LOL :p
