need some help - Alarm keeps going off randomly

Was wondering if you guys could help even tho its not a zed my girlfriends got a seat leon coupra and the bloody alarm keeps setting its self off whenever it likes tho usually in the middle of the nite could it just be that it needs a new battery as ive been told? or is that balls and it needs looking at???

Is it parked near a CCTV camera? I had the same problem in another car and it was my CCTV infrared setting it off.

moths and spiders in the car near sensors are common too.

 

Check for those first, then look at the battery.

thanks for the quick response guys, there's no cctv and the car was only valeted last week but i will check for creepy crawleys

ok no spiders but she dose have alot of crap hanging from the rearview mirror, air freshener's fairys and a shoe but would that really set it off??? ile take them down just incase and see how it goes thanks guys.
