Phil, what size tyre did you put on the rears

 

Does anyone know if you can get Toyo's 285 wide

 

We have used a 275 but yes you can get the Toyo In a 285.

I'm with Captint... 19"s are much nicer... I look at my 18"s from a distance and wish they were bigger... every time I pass a 911 I think... damn, my wheels should fill the arches like that

Thats where the coilovers come in. Always a bit of tenuous date though, when I had 17's I wanted 18's, when I had 18's I wanted 19's when I had 19's (last car) i didn't notice the difference with 18's

Bigger wheels wont fill the arches more as the total diameter of the wheel + tyre will be the same. If you want more 'arch-filling' consider lowering the car, aldough not too much imho or it will really look if the arches are too big for the wheels
