There both the long induction kits the k&n stays in the place of the stock airbox but has a cold air feed. Where as the aem drops the filter to the bottom of the car but this worries me a little with regards to puddles etc does anybody know of any problems. Lexx Posted July 22, 2011 Share Posted July 22, 2011 AEM kits come with a "water sock" which is a fine mesh bag placed over the filter. It allows air through, but not water. I had one fitted to my RX8 donkey's years ago and had no problems with rain etc. If you want better performance from your Zed, induction kits won't do it as even with a cold air feed the K&N will suffer from heat soak. But I've just found that the aem one goes where one of the washer tanks is so I think the k&n seems the easier option so does anybody know where the cheapest place to buy one is?
