Zugara Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 Found this http://www.350z-tech.com/forums/173-nis ... dirty.html and wondered if anyone else has seen or had this problem. I have this issue and no-one seems to be able to answer the question of what causes it..... I have chcked plugs, OK. swapped out O2 Sensors, clean air filter, oil OK. Quote
Ekona Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 Scored bores will do that, leading to increased oil burning on one bank where the oil is passing the rings. Common issue on 996 and early 997 911s, that's where that gem comes from. Any oil usage? Quote

Ekona Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 Yup but only in small amounts, pretty much the same as the IMS issues we discussed (so around 5%). Quote
