oedo Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 I've aggravated an old back injury since getting my Zed in Feb which compounded by the lack of headroom making me stoop/slouch. Some research suggested the cloth seats would be lower than the leather due to the lack of electric motors etc so I bought a set from a nice chap on here to try. Perhaps it has been covered on here before but I couldn't find any definitive answers. However having trial fitted them this afternoon, sadly I can confirm this is not true, there is no difference in height at all between the 2 seats. Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations of lower aftermarket seats before I consider the possibility that I might have to change the car? Cheers Steven PS Got some cloth seats for sale now if anyone wants them! Quote
Chris`I Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 Recaro's on Bride rails are a lot lower than the heated leather seats Quote
RisingPower Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 Recaro's on Bride rails are a lot lower than the heated leather seats +1 Brides or recaros on hyper lo rails are going to be lower and more comfortable than the leather seats. Least, recaro sport trendlines in my ctr were more comfortable. Quote
buster Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 theres a post on the my350z.com site ref lowering the seat runners. Quote
marzman Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 How tall are you? Im 6'2" and have no issues. Just tilt your seat back a bit so you dont sit so upright, and you will get more headroom Quote
