Hello all,

I'm hoping that someone with a little more experience can help me out here.

I'm new to wrapping, but really enjoying it. What I've done so far:

One area that I'm struggling with is concave sections, such as the dimples on the strut cover, or any kind of indentation. When the vinyl is heated it shrinks slightly, pulling them flat. The temp inside a car in the sun is easily enough to trigger this.

What is the correct technique for wrapping parts like that?

you need a very small pin prick in the base of the hole through the material. it allows any trapped air to escape and therefore it shouldn't lift in the dimple.

You know thats common sense, but I would never of thought of that, "Doh".
