Sarnie Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 Why when i click 'view new posts' it says there is none but when I search manually there are some that I ain't read Quote
Chesterfield Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 You'll have to be a little more descriptive. We dont have a "view new posts" link/button. We have a "view unread posts" button. Is it that one? When you click view unread posts what is displayed? PS - I sorted your sig pic and sent you a PM so you could use the new picture, isnt that what you wanted? Quote

Clicked on this thread read your reply and then pressed 'view unread posts' and they had all gone with a message displayed saying 'No posts or topics match that criteria?? Quote

Chesterfield Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 ahh yes - try deleting your cookie for the site and refreshing. That should help out. It may be that the security measures are too high, as the site will track your unread posts by cookie, if it cant write/update said cookie, then it can't keep track of them Quote
jim Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 A colleague suggested that it did no harm to delete all cookies every now and then. I have to say that when I have done so, I have not noticed that browsing becomes any slower. Any other possible risks? Quote
