smurf Posted January 14, 2011 Share Posted January 14, 2011 I need some new gas boot struts for my 350. my mrs is not happy about holding up the boot every time we go food shopping..she says it is too heavy and last time we went she dented the car with the trolley..this will not do! anyone offer me any pointers? thanks Smurf thanks you for all the replies - i have sent a message the regassing company in derby do fingers crossed! purple&black Posted January 14, 2011 Share Posted January 14, 2011 Same thing been happening to me so sent old ones to be regassed at SGS Engineering in Derby who were very helpful on the phone saying most can be tested and regassed for £12.50 each. In the end got new ones from SGS as the extended warranty decided to pay out for new ones at £25.99 each. Very quick efficient service too. Boot works perfect now, easy job. .
