mileage adjusting

is there any way of changing what the speedo says the mileage is, my speedo isnt the most accurate and i want to change it to one that is but i want to retain the correct milage to match up to the service history.

i wouldnt have thought so, im not trying to fiddle it so it appears ive done less than what its actually done, i just dont want to have an instrument that says ive done 40,000 when my service history shows the car is on 61,000.

The only thing that is illegal is altering the clocks to show that you have done less miles than the car has.

 

If your clocks become faulty, you are legally entitled to have them rectified.
