Driving to France tomorrow - any tips?

Easier said than done, it's not like you have to rag the nuts off the 350 to get it over the speed limit without noticing

Trust me, you do not ever want to be caught doing daft speeds in France. Ever. Being escorted to an ATM, emptying your bank account of 750EU and then giving them your licence as well is just about the worst feeling in the world. Oh, and then there's the letters asking for more money when you get home... Really, it just ain't worth it.

remember if going thru tunnels to switch headlights on to low beam it's the law in most of Europe the french police know we don't in the UK and pick us out. (on the spot fine)
