Hi,

Some herbert of a neighbour ran into my bumper and didnt fancy 'fessing up to it; so last week the grey GT entered the local bodyshop.

No massive issues with the work, but the panel matching is pretty poor, and the issue seems to be getting the plastic (ie bumper) to match the rear panel and into the door. It's gone from a simple bumper spray into rear offside panel and door. At this rate I'll be getting the whole car done, but the bumpers still wont match.

Anyone got any thoughts on this?

I get really annoyed with paintshops that use the 'plastic' bumper excuse - they've either got the skills and paint range to blend or they haven't  The only part that will never blend properly in some shades is the petrol cap

Im not a paint guru so Im not sure what the normal process would be in such a situation - should they tinker with the paint to make it match? Do Nissan have different paint codes for different panels?
