seano16 Posted August 13, 2010 Share Posted August 13, 2010 Guys I've been quoted £1400 to get the pads and discs replaced at my local dealer following a service (Ancaster, South Croydon). I'd rather sell the car than spend that much - what a joke!! Any ideas where i can buy OEM pads/discs and get fitted? I could go down the upgrade route but not really sure where to start and also what the costs may be.....but i dont really want to be spending more than £5-600 all in incl. fitting. Cragus Posted August 13, 2010 Share Posted August 13, 2010 I got EBC Turbogrooved discs all round and Ferodo DS2500s pads all round for something like £600 so you don't have to pay prices as high as the ones you have been given for OEM parts. Get some braided lines and Motul RBF600 fluid while you are at it for good measure. It depends what you use your z for though. The above combination is as good if not better than the OEM set up and half the price, but wouldn't stand up to track days as well as many other (typically more expensive) brands.
