cerealuk Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 The left speaker on the zed (this is the stock GT bose kit) intermittently cuts out and then comes back. This usually happens if I go up a bump. I have found that if it goes, I can make it work again by swinging the car around to the right very quickly. It then hangs around until I go over another bump.. annoying and inconvenient lol. Im guessing there is a loose connection somewhere.. my question is how is the best way to determine where it is and fix it ? Cheers Quote

D4XNY Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 give the left side of the head unit a slight bang with your hand (from the passenger footwell) Quote
lrh Posted August 10, 2010 Posted August 10, 2010 Loose connection is deep inside the headunit but can be fixed if you're brave: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=21318 Quote
James B Posted August 10, 2010 Posted August 10, 2010 It's a real ball ache. I've had that and people have tried to fix it, only for it to come back. My advice is just to buy a new Head Unit. I'm installing my double din touchscreen this weekend. If you're patient and eagle eyed there are some good deals to be had on Ebay. Quote
H5 Posted August 10, 2010 Posted August 10, 2010 Common problem. A search and posting question in the right section will help.... Quote
chrisgunton Posted January 1, 2011 Posted January 1, 2011 If a new HU is fitted does the satnav still come through the speakers? Quote
