khanshirus Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 Hi does any one know how to stop the air bag light from flashing? I have had it reset once by Nissan but it came back .. they said I would have to replace all the airbag sensors and wiring under the drivers chair.. Got cash tied up in other things at the moment so cannot do it for a while and the flashing is driving me Thanks Quote
spursmaddave Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 If you type "airbag reset" you will find all the information you need, a link to another site with an excellent write up Quote
Animal Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 Surely if the warning light is flashing it's because there's a fault somewhere though? Quote
ATTAK Z Posted August 7, 2010 Posted August 7, 2010 Surely if the warning light is flashing it's because there's a fault somewhere though? Lot's of people have had this so it's a common problem .....it seems to happen on mine when the seats are moved fully forward to allow cleaning underneath........ so I've stopped doing that now ............. reset procedure is pretty simple but doesn't always work in my experience ........... some suggest hard wiring as a means to reset if the procedure doesn't work Quote
M13KYF Posted August 9, 2010 Posted August 9, 2010 could be a trapped wire in the loom in the seat back. I had this. It had broken the wire where it got trapped by the frame in the back part of the seat. Just get it re connected. Should cost around £40. Quote
khanshirus Posted August 12, 2010 Author Posted August 12, 2010 Thanks I will pop out and try this now Quote
