Bonnet doesn't open :~

Cleaned the car today and wanted to give a quick wipe to the engine bay but it seems that the release meccanism just under the bonnet got stucked somewhere.

Since I fitted the forum slam panel the opening and closing of the bonnet got a bit tight, I guess it's something relate to this

 

Any idea on what I could do?

Had the same problem due to the panel. Just give it some welly from side to side, it will open

Do you mean "shaking" the actual bonnet?

Drive it 155mph and see if it flips up

That's one way to do it

Get someone to pull the handle whilst you wiggle the bonnet around and it might pop open.

same thing happened on my old astra, i got my mate to pull the handle whilst i sat on the front of the bonnet and bounced on it a little bit and it popped open, my cable had stretched so i adjusted it and was fine
