jimgallaher
I really fancy changing my standard Rays for satin black, where can they be bought , I'm in Northern Ireland so I'd prefer to buy locally, though I think this may not be possible. Has anyone here had their standard Rays painted/powder coated and If so what are your thoughts ? Cheers

jimgallaher
Nice job Alessandro, I take it yours are painted ? How hard wearing is the finish ? Can any Irish forum members recommend anyone who can paint alloys ?

jimgallaher
Very nice !! I've seen some *scary* posts regarding powder coating and wheels falling apart. Is it an urban myth or is there some truth in it ? are there some "dodgy" practices in the powder coating world ? I must say rtbiscuits wheels look the canines testicles
rtbiscuit
as long as the temp of backing is kept under 210 degrees there shouldnt be an issue
