Air conditioning

Hi neilp..apparently the 'pipe' was never connected when the cowboy garage in nottingham put my secondhand engine in(it was a Cat C). Falcon has sorted it out now..they have done a check to see if there is any leak (something about using a dye and UV lights) and all is good so far. Hope that makes sense..u can tell i am not a technical person

Yeah I have the goggles which pick up the spray. Did they vacuum it out before charging it. This removes the moisture. If it's charged without it then it can cause some problems. Glad you got it solved mate!

Ok this is a long shot. I bough a car last week and it seems that the air con is goosed. When at 18 degrees its fine but as soon as it goes over even by 1 degree it goes mad hot. usual bollo$65 when you buy a car, stuff that you expect to work doesn't.

Oh while were on the subject, there is two buttons for heated seats on centre console. Tried and low and behold no bloddy heat, no lights on switches either..........

Is it me, cant help but but a sh*t box trying to save a penny...

What to do?? Take to dealer and spend ££££ :yuck:

Sounds like a thermostat problem your having. Could be a tricky job due to it being an automatic system. I'm not sure about the technicalities of it. My seats have barely any heat when on low. Leave them on and they will heat up. Mines take ages.

Take it back and get the garage to sort it? Assuming you bought it from a garage.
