Fitting Aftermarket Steering Wheel?

To those who have fitted one, which boss adaptor did you use? and was it a good fit. IE did you need to adapt anything in order to get things like the horn working, indicators cancelling etc, pics would be welcome

Anyone? bought a cheap boss but it will take too much to mod everything in order to work properly, so i want to find a boss that will fit and retain the some functionality.

Ian fitted a works bell snap off boss. There is a recent thread about it. Have a search. It's a team orange steering wheel so that should help locate all the threads entering that in the search string.

Thanks Ian, it was more specific info I'm after, do they allow you to keep the spiral cable and the steering sensor, or does this have to be eliminated? and if so how is the horn and indicator handled?

not heard of Splash, but it looks identical to the Works Bell boss, and its available in the UK.

You seem to ask for the most obscure information But yes, the cable & sensors are untouched. All you are removing is the wheel & replacing it with a hub & a new wheel

Thanks, its just that i like to know the details also the cheap boss i bought needed the removal of the spiral cable etc, so i wanted to know if spending the extra cash was worth it

Definatley worth the extra cash on something as important as this IMO, not a part of the car I'd want to cheap out on
