Passenger side window fault

Now that the warm weather has arrived, i decided to open the window. Unfortunately, the passenger side decided it did not want to open. I am sure i have seen this fault mentioned on the forum but could not find any info. Is this a dead motor? If anyone has any information i would be very grateful as i dont want to buy expensive bits if this is repairable.

I had the same problem. was getting ready to take everything apart. It turned out to be the window lockout switch on the driver's handrest. Had it turned off pushed it on and everything ok.

Hi Folks, Many thaks for the prompt replys. I am afraid that i have to own up to being a pillock. I didnt realise that i had a lockout switch!!! Many thanks to goose30. The window now works perfectly
