Now that the warm weather has arrived, i decided to open the window. Unfortunately, the passenger side decided it did not want to open. I am sure i have seen this fault mentioned on the forum but could not find any info. Is this a dead motor? If anyone has any information i would be very grateful as i dont want to buy expensive bits if this is repairable. Thanks Geoff

Sorry to see what has happened. I know how you feel. My previous car was attacked with a spray can. The police were totally useless. They issued a crime number but didnt even bother to come and look. Now i have cleared out the garage and keep the Z out of the way. Can we bring back hanging??

Stevenage. My daughter has an ipod, but is on holiday until next monday. The bigger problem is how do i get to the back of the audio system to find out what interface is fitted?

Hi, I picked my car up yesterday (Finally got one!!!!!) Someone has fitted some form of Ipod interface. The cable is routed into the the dashboard storage. I have no idea what is on the other end, but i am advised that it works well. Unfortunatly, i only own cheap and nasty MP3 players so i can not plug in and test.

The paint on this one was quite noticably different. The overall state of the boot area was not good. The strut was quite badly scratched and the luggage area was also heavily scratched. It didnt feel right. I noticed that the first car i looked at is still for sale at the dealers in St Albans. It has sat there for a good few weeks now. I might call and ask if they want to reduce the price yet!!

I've had a look at a couple of cars in the last week. The first was advertised by a dealer and priced at around £13750. The advert didnt mention condition but it looked OK in the grainy little pictures. Unfortunately, it looked like the off side rear wheel arch had had an argument with a wall, and lost. The passenger door looked like it had continued the argument and also lost. There were numerous other scratches so i walked away. I saw another advertised on the web. This one had a different shade of grey on the front. Apparently, It had lots of paint chips so had been re-sprayed!!??!!. The boot area wasn’t very pretty either and there was a ding on the wheel arch despite being advertised as "no dents, no scratches" so back to the drawing board. I set a budget of 13K but i think i may have to go to 14K. I am looking for an 05 coupe, silver or grey preferably, lowish miles. I live in the Stevenage area If anyone knows of anything suitable, please let me know. Geoff

Thanks for the welcome. I plan to start looking seriously at the weekend . I still dont understand the huge variation in price for cars with the same spec and very similar miles. I still have one problem with the other half. How do i pack enough in for a weeks holiday?? All suggestions gratefully received Geoff

Hi Guys Thanks for the welcome. There appears to be some very goo d cars available at around the 13k price but i am not sure what to look for. I have previously driven land rovers / Range rovers and know what to look for but i havnet got a clue with a Z. i am in no hurry. I have seen a couple that look interesting so i might go have a look at the weekend. All advice welcome Geoff

Hi, I am completely new to the world of the 350Z. I have lusted after one since i saw it on Top Gear. I have now persuaded "She who must be obeyed" that we should get one. I had a test drive yesterday at the local franchied dealer. Now i absolutely have to have one. (My daughter has decided that i am having a mid life crisis!!) I dont want to spend more than £13K. Having looked at the various internet boards, autotrader etc, it appears there is a massive variation in price for what appears to be very similar spec cars with similar miles, Why?? My local dealer wanted 15K for a 2005 GT pack but i have seen them for as little as 11K (not imports) I have seen reference to a buyers guide on this forum but i could not seem to find it. All help very gratefully received. I live approx 30 miles due north of central london. Are there any groups that meet in Herts / Beds? Thanks Geoff
