I was thinking near the sun visor or so it drops through the courtesy light. I have no idea if trim etc needs to be removed to do this but I have read it's easy. Do you feed the wire through an existing seal or something? Thanks! Quote
Chris`I Posted March 25, 2010 Posted March 25, 2010 Up the A-pillar would be the easiest way. Pull the weather strip away and you'll see where the trim attatches. I would just push the wire behind the weather strip and leave it at the top of the A-pillar Quote

Is it easy to replace the weather strip afterwards? Flat head screwdriver or something? These are the sorts of jobs I always fear doing irreversable damage with but I really want this aspect of my car right. Is the weathe strip that requires removing immediately obvious? Thanks! Quote

Chris`I Posted March 25, 2010 Posted March 25, 2010 No need to remove it completely as the chaps have said. It does pop out dead easy, just give the bit of it that touches the a-pillar a little tug. Dead easy to push back in afterwards, I've had mine off loads of times, no tools needed Quote
