ikarus
I've had a a lot of bodywork done recently, one thing that is continuing to bug me is the fuel cap alignment. It would appear that this is poor on a lot of zeds. The bodyshop have painted mine but were unable to properly align it, although to be fair it was poor before. Anyone else have this problem? Anyone had any success in realigning them with the bodywork? It's really anoying me and i want to sort it
narcotix
I think it's just one of the zeds "features" ... It used to annoy me at first but now I don't even notice it ...
srobrien
Im sure there is some way to align them by loosening the screw and re aligning. Do a search or someone will be along shortly who may know. R
Trev-the-Rev
I did hear of one member who used a hairdryer to heat up the hinge and bend it accordingly in an attempt to make the cover fit better!
stanski
its moulded precast plastic mate dont think you can adjust it - they are all as bad as each other! I know what you mean -just assume its a feature of the car - dont worry it wont effect your MPG!
helimeddaz
They never sorted this, mine is was one of the last 350's and it's not perfect either.
JT1703
Slacken the 2 small screws on the base of the hinge. The holes are elongated and allow some play so just try a few positions and see if that helps ( it did with mine )
