IMO go to the place you want to work, tell them you will work 2 weeks without pay if your good then ask them to take you on. Wont cost you much plus you might get a job.

I would really recommend trying to get a telecoms job in the oil industry, there are tonnes of jobs especially abroad, most places abroad are on a month and month rota and your probably talking over £60K p/a, plus really good benifits.

 

Oilcareers.com is a good website, also try the usual suspects, shell, total, bp, chevron, amec, talisman, apache etc etc
