km002916
Just put a deposit down on a 350Z but it only has one key and alarm fob. Do I need to go to Nissan for replacements or is there anywhere else that would be cheaper? Also does anyone know the rough price for these? Fien
if you do a search on the forum there should be some advice on how to do this. Basically you will need a blank key, as such: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/UNCUT-NISSAN-X-TRAIL-350Z-REMOTE-KEY_W0QQitemZ190344480242QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item2c516a45f2 then you'll need to get someone to cut it for you. This i've no idea on. Does anyone know how easy it is to get someone to do this and how much it'd cost? I didnt think that is was that easy to cut car keys for security reasons. there's a guide on here on how to programme the key as well. thinking of doing this myself for a spare key so let me know how you get on

Harman350z
JDM has a immobilizer dongle thing which i believe UK does not.
Fien
i see! So i'm guessing the ones that you get on ebay are likely to be suitable for the UK ones only then?
IanS16
JDM has a immobilizer dongle thing which i believe UK does not. Mine doesn't - Its immobilised by the key. One thing I have noticed though is that the key is a lot smaller than a UK one
Harman350z
The keys i believe fit all cars as it just need cutting and programmed in. The alarm fob shown below should of came with a one letter five digit code i think. (eg. A11111) Now im not sure where to go after this, who to get it programmed etc..
