  1. no probs, good luck with the sale, looks a good car for the money
  2. Would you fancy a P/X plus a few quid your way for a Cooper S? http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=153&t=53937
  3. I assume whoever didn't fancy the Mini after all?
  4. Ideally a Grey UK GT but open to suggestions
  5. You managed to wrap a cooper S sideways into a pole then moved into a 350Z, brave move, lol.
  6. Yeh, 170bhp std and great fun to drive, will outhandle almost anything on twisty roads too
  7. I'd say about the £6,250 mark looking at similar ones on autotrader.
  8. There could be a few quid your way too for the right car.
  9. Maybe a bit of a long shot but wondering if anyone fancies swapping their 350Z for a low mileage, nice spec Mini Cooper S? It's a 53 plate with Chilli pack. Comes with half leather interior, xenon headlights, 17" alloys, ASC, air con and also has desirable panoramic sunroof. It has also recently had a K&N panel airfilter and colder spark plugs so if you fancy putting smaller pulley on it for 200 bhp all supporting mods are already fitted. Just 48k miles with full service history to back it up. HPi clear. Taxed until May 2012 and MOTd until late March 2012.
  10. Thinking of selling the 350, love the car but after a year and a halfs ownership I'm getting itchy feet (usually only keep cars for a year max). Anyways on to the ad: 52 plate JDM 350Z covered just 31k miles with full service history to prove. Car is in fantastic condition and wants for nothing. It comes fitted with full black leather interior, electric windows, power folding mirrors, TCS, ABS and Xenon lights as standard. Aftermarket wise it's fitted with aftermarket head unit with flip out screen (touch screen), DVD player, I pod connector, sat nav with lane assist and uprated speakers all round. Also 20" monoblock alloys with wider rears (£3k new!), 20mm eibach spacers on the rear and 15mm MWTech fronts, JWT popcharger and a S/S cat back exhaust which makes the car sound amazing! Car is taxed until end of Jan 2012 and has a full years MOT as of today. Private plate not included in sale (will come on a 52 plate). May consider selling alloys seperately and supplying with standard 18s if you would prefer price reduction. You must see this car in the flesh to really appreciate it in all its glory. Price is £9000 with 20s etc, or open to offers with mods removed
  11. Looks like I've managed to sort it, took it out and gave to a friend who does alot of work on PCs and other electronics who opened it up n found that moisture had got to it (car had water coming in from cracked mirror base on drivers side which I sorted about 3 weeks or so ago) so he cleaned it all up and since refitting it all seems well Its away for its MOT today then think I'm putting it up for sale
  12. I've taken the BCM out and given it to a friend who fixes electronics to take a look over at see if he can spot anything obvious.
  13. Immobiliser is messing up again, looked through receipts that came with the car and it seems that the car has had this issue before, Nissan replaced the BCM a few months before we bought the car back in late 2009. I really don't know where to go from here, don't fancy taking it to Nissan as it cost £1200 for the last owner with this fault and it doesn't seem to have sorted the root cause of the problem, the only thing I can think is that there seemed to be water ingress that I have now sorted (was coming in from mirror with broken base that I fixed) that I gues could have caused the initial probs both times. Anyone have any suggestions?
  14. Thanks Dblock, I'll PM him
  15. Trying to connect an OBD 2 diagnostics into my JDM 350Z but it doesnt seem to connect, my friend (who has the OBD 2 thing) has loads of different software/programs but doesn't know which one works on JDM 350Zs, can anyone advise? We have seen some stuff on net saying it needs to be JOBD but can't find an answer.
  16. Honestly mate, PM Zmanalex and get some UK terminals. Switch them over then get a much better battery that Uk owners get a 005L. The UK battery has double the cca and more CCA then a JDM one. Also my JDM one used to go flat pretty quick. Cheers for the advice, I'll see if Halfords offer the terminals as well as the UK battery so I can get it changed over this weekend.
  17. Looks like a trip to Halfords is on the cards tomorrow then, thanks
  18. I'm looking for the correct battery for my JDM 350Z, getting a bit confused in what to look for or where to look as I'm told imports have smaller prongs/terminals and it needs to be the correct CCA. Can anyone help? I'm located in Glasgow area (Lenzie) so don't know if there's anywhere local I could pick one up as I'd imagin postage would be crazy on a battery due to the weight.
  19. battery seems ok but it now starts with no immobiliser probs, confused
  20. Looking for a bit of advice. I'm having probs with immobiliser staying on causing my car not to start then battery dieing, please see last few posts here for more details: http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=16004&p=678722#p678722
  21. friend has suggested that the battery could have a dead cell causing problems: "i think u might have a dead cell in battery very hard to test Keith says: means f**k all 2 me Rob says: if ure car need ecu needs 10v to function right battery supplying say 8v under load electronics work but f**k up car will turn over and seem to work but engine mangement not got the power" Anyone experienced anything like this or know if this makes sense?
  22. jump started it cause battery was flat and it started fine. That seems to be the common scenario, can't start it, try time n time again, no luck, batteries flat so jump it and it fires no probs
  23. tried this on my JDM (won't start), hazzard lights never flash and it doesnt seem to be working, also side lights now on and wont go off. Any advice?
