Chris`I Posted October 21, 2009 Share Posted October 21, 2009 Put oil along all pleats, including those at the front/top. Depending on what oil kit you have, if its the same as the K&N, just spray down the pleats, making sure each one gets some oil. Do not go around and around, only make one pass. Remember that one spray will do multiple pleats. I suggest you do a test spray onto some paper so that you know how wide the spray pattern is If you think you have over oiled it, wash it off and start again. I have the K&N kit! at the front of the JWT there is a wide opening going into the filter, with other filters it is closed, not open, I take it you dont have to spray into the inner pleats?
