My Sunset GT 350Z, completely standard, main dealer full service history, only 19K miles.

Just had service and first MOT, taxed till 05/10. First registered September 28th 2006 so today is the cars birthday.

Orange leather, reverse sensors, bluetooth, 350Z mats, excellent condition inside and out and supaguarded by dealer.

Small scuff on rim of front alloy was there when I bought the car.

£14500

I have decided to use my Porsche for my daily, I am buying an older '79 928 to race so I wont need the Z anymore.

Contact pagnobito@hotmail.com in the first instance, or pm me.

You can ask questions here, but anything such as 'its too expensive' will be deleted. I have no need to sell the car, not bothered if it doesn't but if you want a nice low mileage sunset GT in excellent condition then here it is and that is the price.

ok,

first its TOO EXPENSIVE!!! ;) but a nice car

and second what's the point in putting it up for sale, "im not bothered it if sells"

FS items like this are completely pointless!!!

I AWAIT TO BE DELETED!!!!

@sparky. The point being I don't need to sell it, if someone wants an excellent Sunset GT, low mileage 10 months tax 1 year MOT and just serviced, it has to be worth the price. I am not going to give it away, if the price is set lower then I may as well sell it to a dealer, but would rather sell it to someone who likes Z cars. Perhaps not bothered was a bit flippant, but really if no one buys it I am quite happy to keep it, as it is a fantastic car. When I get my 928 race car I probably wont drive it much, hence someone else can enjoy it.

@bronzee. Thanks, I will take a look.

The car is in Kent by the way.

At the end of the day owners can value their cars for whatever they want, whether they sell without lowering the price is another thing. We all said the same about Kashz's car but he sold that within weeks, so you never know. It,s starting to turn back into a sellers market at the moment.

I'm looking for a mint low milage 'Z'ed is it fully loaded (satnav) etc.

Looks like it has everything except the Nissan Satnav, which won't take postcodes so you'd do better to get a custom system from Nurrish.

Posted

As I know very little about these as it will be my first 350Z what sort of costs are involved to get satnav installed or can I do it myself?

Posted

wouldnt say thats too expensive at all! - i paid a little less for a 56 with almost 10k more on a month or so ago, which at the time wasnt bad, did see ones similar spec and mileage to this cheaper and more expensive, all depends on condition i suppose! This looks like a lovely motor though, hope it goes to a good home

Service guy said rear tyres are at 3mm centre 4mm outer so they will be replaced before the car is sold.

I have never needed sat nav, still use maps as they don't tend to be wrong often. My wife uses one, and when I used it, it was telling me to go down roads I know better it was telling me the wrong way (the busy way). I used to be a mobile engineer in the south east so I know the roads quite well.

If I were to use one I would use a mobile version. The only benefit I can see is if you find one that has reliable TMC and the alternative roads are clear. But nowadays I try to avoid using the roads at all when they will be at their busiest. I used to love driving, now it is a pain, I digress, this is a lovely car, hasn't been car park dinged, the panels all look perfect to me, some stone chips in the front but I touch them in when I wash it.

It is on ebay now, the reserve is £14500, so if anyone on here wants to give me that for the car.....

I checked out Lexus, GS450h, very quick, strange though because it is CVT there isnt a rise and fall of revs, if you floor it the engine revs high and stays there, but the styling is a bit old now and it has no boot really, not much bigger than a Focus hatch.

So I looked at Audi and BMW, and now the decision is between a sline 3.0l auto diesel A4 quattro or 335d M sport coupe auto, both similar performance 0-62 in 6.1 but I think the audi has it just on the stereo being bang and olufson, whereas the bmw one is poo.

But the BM's engine is miles better than the Audi's. :)

Well I am going to try and drive them back to back. I drove the Audi 2.7d and the 330d coupe and the bmw felt quicker but wasn't as quiet engine and road noise. After power the sound system is next most important and I dont really fancy spending another 3k or so on top of the bmw to get the ice updated. There cant be that much difference between them engineering wise, yes one is straight the other v6, I am sure both will do 150k miles quite easily if I keep them that long.

Not what the reviews say (I read a lot when I was looking at cars with the same two engines) but I agree the best thing is for you to drive back to back. IMHO the interior of the Audi is streets ahead of the 3 series but there's little doubt the BM will be the more rewarding drive. Depends where your priorities lie. :)

I bought the BMW 335d, awesome performance, planted, loud pedal, thump in the back, relentless, feels like it will just keep going like that way over the speed limit and beyond the limiter. in gear acceleration is also brilliant, overtaking is a breeze.

The 350Z must go, is there no one that wants an immaculate GT in orange, recently serviced and MOT'd

for £14500

Bargain price, Nissan dealer up the road has one on in grey on a 56 for 17K
