Fitting spacers

T8 JPE

Recommended Posts

Did mine up just like the wheel nuts used 110 N/m but also some nut lock compound on the threads, checked after 50 odd miles and still fine, also checked after 500 miles and still fine. :)

Just make sure you clean the hub properly before fitting with a bit of emery paper and add a smear of copper ease for when you may want to take them off again if you sell the car.

Just be careful not to over tighten them as the nuts are very soft and tend to round off, (speaking from expeirence  )

Not if you use the correct size socket & use the hexagonal type that grip on the flats :) Dont try to use the wheel brace either, it may be fine for the wheel nuts but not the spacer nuts as it will not fit in the nut recess.
