pyn888 Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 got a JDM and looks like previous owner has stuck on a OEM UK spoiler as opposed to drilling holes . going to remove this and fit nismo spoiler and dont fancy drilling holes whats the best bond to use , from what iv e read tigerseal or sikaflex seems to do the job. will these damage/burn the paintwork and are they strong enough to hold the spoiler at high speeds? thanks Quote
rtbiscuit Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 both of those are good sealants, as for stopping it blow off, should do yes, but no guarantees, i would rather have it bolted on. go to a body shop and get them to do it.. Quote
srobrien Posted July 28, 2009 Posted July 28, 2009 The nismo spoiler is quite heavy in comparison to the lip one so if I were you I would have at least a few bolts holding it on otherwise you may see it getting smaller and smaller in your rearview mirror. R Quote
