M13KYF Posted July 12, 2009 Author Posted July 12, 2009 well jacko and I went today for a test drive. Very solid to drive, feels planted. Nice rev blip on the drop downs which varies depending on what revs your doing at point of gear change. Performance was good although with only 28 miles on the Z it was still tight so difficult to make a true comparison on power. Id did feel a bit quicker but not 50bhp quicker at the moment. Brakes were very strong. Exhaust is quite but improves when pushing on. Test drove the blue one which is a GT. The red one is a auto. I preferred the red colour. Blue is metallic, reminds me of the old British Leyand Pageant blue. some piccies and for the gt-r fans. How about this for a room with a view. Couldn't fit them all in one shot but it was jam packed with them ready for delivery. Quote
MITZ@CougarStore Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 GT-R heaven... The 370z in red looks great... Quote
Beavis Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 Red does look nice , going to see and test drive a white one on tuesday Quote
bronzee Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 How did you find the new large wing mirrors and the viability out the rear window and quarter windows Mike? Quote
M13KYF Posted July 13, 2009 Author Posted July 13, 2009 How did you find the new large wing mirrors and the viability out the rear window and quarter windows Mike? visibility out of the rear and the mirrors is just about the same. Put it this ways it didn't feel worse. Quote
M13KYF Posted July 13, 2009 Author Posted July 13, 2009 So, the order going in then Mike? wouldn't buy a brand new one. Let someone else take the hit first Quote

Digsy Posted July 13, 2009 Posted July 13, 2009 What were the control weights like? IMHO they made the steering and clutch too light on the last 350s. Quote

mattstoke Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Beavis...make sure you take your Camera!!! What time are you going out? drive through milton and we can throw the salesguy in the boot and whip the 370 up the A500 a few dozen times! just joking of course if there's any police reading!!! Quote
Jacko Posted July 14, 2009 Posted July 14, 2009 Yeah I thought similar lines to Mike when I drove it on sunday... Felt a lot more stronger and stiffer structurally than the 350z Loads of grip, even in the mini monsoon that hit the test drive. Didn't feel that much quicker, but that said it was very tight as brand new Has the same zed feel where you're actually going quicker than you think Much more civilised driving than the 350z, not as "raw" When you're driving it you feel very close to the front end, and it actually feels quite narrow to drive. When looking in review mirror, seemd like the the rear end was miles away! Thought the new seats and finish of them worked. Actually was pretty impressed overall to drive it.... Quote
