hi everyone

had my first test drive today of a 08 350z

was brilliant and really liked the car!

pulls way harder than my type r!

the garage was very helpful and talking to the

dealer he said he could find a 57 or 08 313 model with 15000 - 20000 miles

for 16000?! he said he wasnt to sure but he thought

he would be able to find one.

has anyone bought a 57 or 08 313 for this price?

seems to cheap to me

cheers

alex

hi guys

going round in circles abit with what i want lol

A really nice 2006 model has come up thats black

orange seats and has the sat nav. Looks amazing

and would love to have the orange seats but i know they

are rare. but....

as you know deep down i get the feeling the 313 is the better car

but will have to spend more.

Performance wise is there actually any real real difference bewteen the two

for everyday driving. i have noticed the revups peak torque is higher so guess

it needs to be thrashed more.

I know everybody has there opinions but more the better :)

any help would be fab

cheers

alex

I'd go for the 309bhp (313ps) version personally. A lot more torque and way more power and better more reliable engine all round. The rev up version actually has the least torque of all three models. The earliest "280ps" model actually has the most torque from the factory. Mine (a 2005 model) recently made 290lbs/ft on the dyno at GT Art but is advertised as having 274lbs/ft from the factory. The rev up is advertised as having 260lbs/ft from the factory so a big difference, and the 313ps model advertised as having 268lbs/ft. But the 313 version has a more even spread of torque so best all rounder.

The newest 313 engine actually has more of a growl than the earlier models. 16k should be possible but it will not be the GT model. I found some GT (313) models for the 17-18k mark a few months back but have probably dropped since. As said brand new ones were being sold for 20k earlier this year so 16k very feasable. Make sure it is the 313 model (bonnet bulge and two air filters under the bonnet, plus the ignition has an orange light around it). Good luck.

313 no doubt... leave the rev up alone mate ;)

Why leave the rev up alone bud? don't quite understand.

The rev up engine is far easier to modify than the 313, plus if you put the two side by side and gave it some beans you would hardly tell the difference.

I think you will find that forum members have had no problems with the rev up models, and me for one would choose this over the 313 model and put my savings to modifying it
