H5 Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 Anyone get involved with watersports and know what is a decent / trendy watch that can be used? My brother is an usher at my wedding and I'm trying to find a gift.... Thanks. Quote
H5 Posted June 2, 2009 Author Posted June 2, 2009 About a quid..... I was looking at up to £100 (I've got a best man and three other ushers) but if I can't get anything decent for that then I'll move away from the watch idea. Or reassess how much we're spending on flowers! Quote
3FIDDYZ Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 Sunto would be a good area to look I would guess at that price point.. Just having a look through my old trade stuff! Quote

3FIDDYZ Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 Cheers matey, anything that could be a good buy is much appreciated.... Unfortunatly most of the guys that I used to know have left the trade now as I could have got you trade (which is about 50% discount!)..... Quote

3FIDDYZ Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 Better price http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASI ... 2CI8365849 Dummy question now - what's good about it for watersports?? Its water resistant (read water proof but they cant use that term unless it meets certain levels / requirments!!) but enough for what he would use it for... They are more multi activity watches rather than a specific dedicated watch for say wind surfing that will have somesort of easy countdown timer for racing... What specific watersports does he do? Stew Posted June 2, 2009 Posted June 2, 2009 A G shock! Not very original I know but truly bullet proof. I wore my G shock in Siberia (worked perfectly in -50*C) and I've worn the same one in the Sahara (+55*C) not to mention I wore it on a drill floor countless times getting covered in god knows what and it STILL works perfectly.
