Hi Guys,

I heard from Cosworth yesterday that they are developing an intake plenum for the 350Z.

I don't have a release date yet, but I think it's very encouraging that Cosworth are continuing to take an interest in the VQ35 :yahoo:

surely, so long as the plastic doesnt suffer, they would be better using plastic? I only say this as even after sessions on the track the v+ is fairly cool the the touch so is keeping density down more than a metal one?

Hey Guys,

I saw a 3D model of this manifod today. It is nothing like I had expected B)

I can't say too much but I can tell you it's a combination of cast alloy and carbon fibre, that the design looks quite radical to me and that it is designed to produce another 16hp.

Fair play Cosworth :)

I agree, it is very interesting. The head of Cosworth USA came for a meeting at TDi yesterday, so I can tell you that there are some even more interesting developments in the pipeline.

There are no price indications on the plenum yet - sorry
