Tyre wear problem

Finch

Recommended Posts

Hi, I'm looking for some help please.

I have recently purchased a 350z with 20" wheels and lowered springs.

I have a problem with my tyres the are worn along the inside edges, the fronts are alot worse than the rear.

I've had the tracking checked out and it seems ok. The problem I have is with the camber. The results I got for these where:

camber left...........-1.08'

Right........-2.14'

cross camber....... 1.06'

What I need to find out is how/If it can be correct?

And where? I live in Hull so the least travel possible really.

Really I just need to talk to someone who knows what they are on about!

I would be very grateful for any help at all.

Thanks

Wasn't there a guy here, ages ago, who this was what he specialised in - posted a website as well?

Sorry to say something is bent!.... During lowering the camber positions will decline toward negative.. This transition should be symmetrical, the 1 degree disparity is worrying.

It will be easier to triangulate the problem if you can display more of the Geometry report, namely the Castor and SJI positions...
