Manufacturers warranty quick answer needed please

Hi,

if I buy a zed from an independent dealer and it's only 2 years old with a fsh and stamped book every 9000 miles, will the remaining year be transferable to me?

Yes, providing the servicing is done to the Nissan schedule you will get the full 3 year warranty.

Yes, 25000 was early I think.

It could well be that the previous owner tried to sell privately so had it serviced to save getting knocked down.

I bought 2007 zed from a mitsibushi dealer in jan, had a year left on the warranty. Do i need to contact nissan to officially transfer the warranty over? And does the servicing need to be done at a main dealer to keep the warranty valid?

Warranty is transferred automatically as a right of the sale of the car, no need to do anything. Servicing needs to be done to OEM standards using OEM-quality parts. Basically you don't have to go to a main dealer, but it's really going to help your case should you ever need a warranty claim.
