scottsoulby Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 hi guys, ive seen some wheels which i quite like going cheap, they are, 19" AXE Alloy Wheels Type AP41, Size Front 8"x 19", Rear 9"19". PCD 5 x 114 ET35 Falken fk 452 Perfomance tyres, the tyres are Front 235/35ZR/19 91Y Rear 265/30ZR/19 93Y. questions: is the offset correct? the tyres seem a strange size, are they correct? the rims seem thin for the size, is it how they should be? thanks Scott Quote

scottsoulby Posted March 4, 2009 Author Posted March 4, 2009 http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0297432192 i need new tyres + the rays are looking a bit corroded, so thinking about getting these as a quick fix, although i wanted to make sure they were ok first, seem like a strange tyre and rim size? Stew Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 The offset would need spacers in my opinion. 35 isn't aggressive. The tyre size isn't correct for the Zed weeither. The profile should be the same on both wheels. Oh and Quote
Andy Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 +1 on the above and ideally you would want to be looking for a 275/35 on the rear Quote
scottsoulby Posted March 4, 2009 Author Posted March 4, 2009 i saw that, it says 36 in the bold listings, and just bellow where he starts writing, 19" AXE etc ET35? Quote
scottsoulby Posted March 4, 2009 Author Posted March 4, 2009 so the tyres are wrong .... bugger... not much point buying them if i have to change the tyres, id be in the same situation as i am now, thanks for all the replys everyone Quote
Adriank Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 For reference, my new wheels are ET20, 19x9" front 19x10" rear. They fill out the archs perfect and dont rub at all lowered on eibach springs. With thinner wheels id be looking for an even smaller offset 10-15mm to fill it out fully. Dont know what /if any effect this would have on handling tho. Have got 245/35 front and 275/35 rears on.
