Stolen Evo - please keep your eyes peeled

Hope you don't mind me posting this on here, but if you can help a fellow member of the Jap performance community it would be much appreciated.

 

A friend of mine has had his blue Evo VI stolen from the car park of the Crowne Plaza hotel in Birmingham during the Autosport Show last night (9th Jan). Registration number H15CRP, only distinguishing marks from the outside are a few small Wallace Performance stickers.

 

This is the car in which he competes in the Time Attack series and has had lots of money spent under the bonnet. To say that Russ is gutted is an understatement. More details can be found on the Mitsubishi Lancer Register here - http://www.lancerregister.com/showthread.php?t=239310

 

If anyone sees the car or hears anything about it could they please post on the above-mentioned thread on the MLR.

I wonder what people do with cars like that? Strip them or put them straight in a cargo crate?

Sorry to hear this.

 

I fear it will not be seen again, having been stripped for parts. Its far to identifiable as a whole even if it looks standard on the outside.
