Shuck Posted January 3, 2009 Share Posted January 3, 2009 Had a bit of an issue with my electric drivers seat on my 04 UK spec GT. The button to move the chair forward or backwards doesn't work. Well it goes back but will not move forwards. This is ok for me with my long legs, but the smaller girlfriend can't drive it! Took it to the local stealer (Evans Halshaw, Darlington) 45 minutes and £40 later they tell me I need a new switch and it will cost me £226.43. Trying at the moment to get the garage I got the car from to foot the bill (only bought it from them on the 15th Dec) as I have a 3 month warranty with them, but if that fails has anyone got any ideas where I can get it sorted out for a bit less or am I just going to have to bite the bullet and stump up the cash with the stealers?
