seasider Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 Does anyone know if an ECU from a 2005 350z would work fine in a 2004 (54) 350z? There was a model change in 2005 from the previous model with an increase in power etc. Quote

Also any ECU's from the correct model year would have to be checked for NATS compatibility and programmed to your key etc. Quote
seasider Posted December 19, 2008 Author Posted December 19, 2008 Cheers. Is it the case then that the ECUs are the same for the 276 model, the 287 are the same, the 306 the same. So as long as it is from a 276 model it would be ok? Quote

Adam@Z1auto.com Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 ^ as well as differences from auto to manuals Quote
ZMANALEX Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 Also remember that the after replacing the ECU you will have to: (1): Perform initialization of NATS system and registration of all NATS ignition key IDs. (2): Perform Accelerator Pedal Released Position Learning. (3): Perform Throttle Valve Closed Position Learning. (4): Perform Idle Air Volume Learning: All the above are very straight forward and quite simple to administer. Alex. Quote
