Space Cadet Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 I’m sure this will have been asked before, is it possible to link an ipod to the Bose head-unit? Another thread talked about whether the unit had a line-in, to no avail, but is there any other way? Thanks. Quote
bengazzard Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 they any good..? that was my second choice from the karmen-hardon thing? they easy to install? Quote
Removed Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 dont know havent got it but IIRC they were straightforwardish to install (console out etc ) Quote
polarbear Posted May 3, 2006 Posted May 3, 2006 iTrip set at 108.0 Mhz works fine for me in the South. Quote
Wa_Wa Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 FM transmitters like the iTrip are banned in the UK by some 60 year old act of parliament. This would be the ideal gadget for me and I'm glad to see we're so up to date in this country. The good news is that Ofcom are reconsidering that ban. The following news article on the BBC explains more... http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/4993528.stm Quote

Wa_Wa Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 polarbear, I hope my earlier post didn't offend. What's the sound quality of the iTrip like? Do you get any interferrence from commercial stations at all? Quote
AK47 Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 itrip is a good device, but the quality of sound and lack of interference really depends on your location and therefore the number and density of stations. So imho in London where the station density is pretty filling the FM dial your signal will be poorer than if you're in the country with less stations. Then you've only got to pick a frequency without a station on either side and you're sweet... Quote
polarbear Posted May 25, 2006 Posted May 25, 2006 No offence taken mate 108.0 Mhz is clear for me all over the Sarf' of England, but it might be different in other areas. It actually works better with the stubby Honda aerial too. You need to use the Bass Reducer EQ setting, but apart from that it is good, clear and loud. eBay or foreign trip and a duty free shop is the way to get hold of one. Quote
Beavis Posted May 29, 2006 Posted May 29, 2006 I-trip Working at 87.9 here fine.Very good sound quality. Quote
