Philip Benton
Thanks! what zorst do you have on your new Z? I thought there was a thread on the site which discusses grounding kits but can't find it I am not a techy person but here goes........basically a grounding kit is extra earth wiring which is attached to key componants around the engine bay! Early 350's suffered from power blead through bad earthing which in turn reduced the amount of power getting through to the fuel pump, ecu etc. By improvong the earthing all these componants get the right power and therein improves the performance! I noticed sharper throttle response and smoother running which combined improved rthe whole drivability of the car! Think Nismo do a self fit kit but got mine from Spills who used my car as the template for his 350 kit! Am sure other forum members will come up with a better explanation!! GIXXERUK
nice sounding exhaust, just out of interest what does a grounding kit do? basically it helps give cleaner crisper signals to the ecu so that it can respond better looks good and def gave a smoother idle, better mpg and less jerky at low revs when i fitted mine
