BOSE help

Hi there guys.

Problem with the BOSE head unit. i press the cd button and nothing happens for a few seconds and then a message saying push (or press) eject appears and doing this does nothing. Cd's dont come out and they dont play, Radio works fine though. It has happened before and it corrected itsself last time. its murder driving a car with no music

Can anyone help?

When you press eject you then have to press the CD number you want ejected?

Not structly true.

Thats only if you want to eject a CD thats in a diff position to the one you are currently listening too.

 

Try pushing an holding the Eject button (this will normally eject all 6 CD;s in sequence).

 

Failing that, use impact engineering and hit the flaming thing!

If there is a number flashing it can indicate a faulty disc though....

It does absolutely hee haww when i press eject and any cd.

So its no music for me untill it gets fixed. Ill head to the garage tomorrow and see what they say, no doubt theyll claim this type of thing isnt covered by warranty .

have you tried "gentle persuasion"

 

press eject and bang it with your hand, incase the ejector carriage is stuck
