An 'FM Modulator' is your only hope with the standard Bose head unit I’m afraid. Think everyone has looked for a better solution but we are stuck with this. You can play state of the art cassette tapes though!!

I may have spoke too quickly about fm transmitter / modulator being only option. Will update on monday when they get back to me. I'm being told it's an aux interface unit even though there is no aux input on the bose stereo. He said 100% not through ariel.

If this turns out to be the magic box we have all been looking for would anyone fancy a group buy of say min 5-10 of us so a discount can be obtained?

Will let you know if it's all bollox and update soon.
