Engine oil...

Sorry to post this its probably been asked before, but im getting the oil / filter done, what oil do people use in their cars?

 

I need to buy the oil tommorow, so is nissan best bet or any other places i can buy it? How much does it use 5 litres enough?

I I think its 5w-30

 

Correct :thumbs: Though i use Amsoil :)

 

Silkolene PRO S 5W-40 FROM OPIEOILS

 

fast delivery :thumbs: i changed mine today, i was tempted to try a different filter but stayed with an oem one in the end :thumbs:

i used to use the silkolene pro S from oilman on my old Integra, but the guy i get my servicing done with uses castrol edge 10-60 in everything, as its what his race cars run.

 

Should i avoid that oilin the 350, or would it be ok still? I'm going to have a look round locally and see what i can find in 5-30, but most are in 4l tubs so going to have to get a 4ltr and a 1ltr :-(

Do you have any idea on oil temps? The Castrol RS is now known as the Castrol Edge Sport here http//www.opieoils.co.uk

 

To be honest you can do much better, take a look at the ester based oils of the Silkolene Pro S and the Motul 300v. These are proper performance synthetics.

To be honest you can do much better, take a look at the ester based oils of the Silkolene Pro S and the Motul 300v. These are proper performance synthetics.
