Na, I know (as do most on the site) that I AM an idiot.

Anyway back to poker after my ace story.

It is a good night having a crate of beer and some munchies and having a low stake game with the boys.

Just gloating over some of my recent live poker results.

Check out David Wood, in the last event and last Saturday. Playing in a tournament this Sat night again and in a very big money one this Sunday where the prize money will be about 30k :scare: .

The tuesday results prize money is the way it is because there were still 7 of us left a 4.40 am after starting at 8.45 pm from a starting field of 119. The position were decided on chip count at that time. :)

Took £600 in prize money in November B)

Hey Dave I hope you are not just trying to get a 'read' on potential opponents.

Which do you prefer - internet or live? Obviously if you wanted to go a long way then live it would have to be. I do like watching some of the tournaments on the box, especially the WPT. Just think you get a false idea as you can see what cards people are playing with, so its easy to be critital of their play. I also think it makes some people believe its easier than it really is.

Much prefer live Keith, i think its much easier to play as i get to see the opponents. I have tried the internet and even though i have had some success i dont trust the random number generators used to play the cards. I see to many wild hands for my liking and bad beats compared to live. Got very close last year to winning a seat at the EPT in London last year, that would have been a $15000 package. :)
