genuine reason I use the car for work with the new company, there is a policy on private plates and I fall foul of this

I think he probably does own it ,you can get this company to advertise your plate you know

Quite a few sites advertise plates that they do not own. They wait until someone puts an order in and then try to get it for as little as possible.

 

Ive seen plates that I know people own, up for sale on sites before.

Here, I have a 350Z plate, on retention, from an old bike ... but I never got round to changing over from the my new stock plate GT54ZZZ ... but then as I am only new to this forum. I guess I'll have to offer it elsewhere! Moderators please note!

rather than calling me a scammer why not ask me direct - the plate is mine and I am really fcuked off tht some site is offering to sell it when clearly I own it.

 

And I am a little pi**ed someone is calling me a scammer too - check facts out first, loads of members from the other board actually know me, know I own it and have seen me on teh road with it.

just phoned them up to say i own it and they are removing it from their website, still interesting price they want, 1200 quid for a plate that isnt sold from DVLA according to them? Well it only cost 995 all inc from DVLA....

it is bloody odd (and must be annoying) that they can advertise something you own, but you never know, could increase your chance of a sale
