davidbaker8130 Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 I saw this mentioned on one of the US sites and thought "What a load of old cobblers!" After washing the car, rinse without the spray attachment, just use the end of the hose and work from the top of the car down. It takes less than half as long to dry it off afterwards. I rinsed half with the spray and half with the hose end and took some pics. Here's one. Apologies to those who do this anyway. Quote
l33r0y Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 Better alternative I find is to use a rose attachment. Has the same effect when used close to panels to aid 'run off' but more convenient to attach/remove when you need the jet. Quote
Traktion Posted April 3, 2006 Posted April 3, 2006 btw, I saw a gorgeous yellow GT4 for sale near Southampton where I live. It looked great, but was 28k from an independant garage If I had a few quid spare... Quote

Removed Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 i don't rinse anymore! I just put the NXT wax on the wet car, spread with the pad, let dry and wipe off! saves me time and works a treat! even better if you drop a bucket of warm water on the car before doing that! Quote
Jacko Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Val, On your recommendation (and others) I bought a load of Meguiars kit at the weekend (£70's worth! ).... As it belted it down all weekend not had chance to wash her yet. So if this the best way of applying the NXT wax ? Have you tried the NXT booster spray as well for between waxing to "top it up"? Removed Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 just last week @ the Charity Show! have to say it worked a treat! but no point in using it if you wax it already, it's just for when for example you wash the car, wax it, drive to a show and want to get rid of the dust etc Quote
hagar Posted April 23, 2006 Posted April 23, 2006 just get the flash car wash kit, it dries fast and with no water marks so no need to wipe down Quote
