insurance exclusion

just had a read of my new insurance docs and there is a disclaimer on the bottom I've never seen before which says "use on the nurburgring is not covered" I've never known them be so specific!

Look out for "de-restricted toll roads" being excluded. That covers the ring too.

 

My understanding is that it is best to consider yourself NOT insured when driving round the Nurburgring.

it also mentions Nordschleife which i've never heard of - then goes on to say the usual about track days etc. Don't they realise i don't get much further than sainsburys?

ye as already stated, its because it technically isn't a track so just stating "track driving not insured" doesnt cover them.

 

Its amazing how many cars crash 2 miles down the road from the nurburgring though
